I was delighted to be asked to exhibit at the Centennial Galley, the only city-owned gallery located in beautiful Centennial Park. I had just finished a multi-season shoot of a nearby meadow and was excited to curate the photos into a cohesive show. The ten Meadow images were done in black-and-white and I decided to add two color images from my Laundry Room series.
Josh, the gallery manager, did a great job hanging my work and the opening reception was a great success. When a patron told me how much she liked my work I told her that that was what kept an artist going. I've learned that you really have to put yourself out there to grow as a person and an artist. And now I am very excited to start my next project, whatever that turns out to be.
